Masciangelo Insurance Group was founded on the expertise of Tony Masciangelo, who has spent over 30 years in the insurance industry. After decades at a well-known insurance company, the vision was to establish an agency based on the idea of putting the customer first, rather than focusing on sales. Founded as an independent agency, the group signed its first carrier that year. Fifteen years later, Masciangelo Insurance Group has grown to represent over 40 carriers and serve 1,600 clients.

At Masciangelo Insurance Group, our focus is on being an insurance advocate. We don’t just want to sell you insurance; we’re real people trying to help you navigate a difficult process. With so many carriers to offer, we work to find exactly the coverage and payment options that fit your budget. We also want to make sure that you understand what you are paying for, putting a focus on education. Even though we have a national reach, we ensure a home-town feel to your insurance experience.

Maggie Kobel Livingston
Maggie has been a part of Masciangelo Insurance Group Insurance since 2006. She has spent these past years building strong relationships with clients while providing personalized service. She is truly passionate about making sure her clients are educated on their insurance needs. Maggie lives in the southwest suburbs of Chicago with her husband, Eric. She loves the beauty of the outdoors, enjoys exercising her creative side with arts and crafts, traveling, and has a big heart for animals (especially English Bulldogs!).
Jason Ivy
Jason brings a progressive background in sales, education, and leadership to Masciangelo Insurance Group, one that he has been cultivating within the insurance industry since 2010. He prides himself on trust through speed, excellence through accuracy, and understanding through relationships, which has created a ripple effect of success throughout his career. Outside of work, Jason spends his time with family and the different activities that his children participate in: soccer, basketball, football, and band.
Steve Ellis
Steve has been part of the Masciangelo Insurance Group team since 2007. His primary focus has always been providing great customer service and building great, long-lasting relationships with his clients. He always looks to get his customers the best rates without sacrificing coverage, because covering our clients properly is a core part of what makes Masciangelo Insurance Group’s service exceptional. In his spare time, Steve enjoys spending time with family and friends and rooting for all the Chicago sports teams. He’s a sports fanatic.
Penny Halvax
Penny has always worked in the insurance industry, working in many capacities within the industry, but especially enjoys working directly with clients. She prides herself on providing clients with the best coverage available while making sure the clients know they are our most important asset. Penny has two grown children, Ryan and Tara. She lives in Plainfield with her husband, Tony, and four(!) doggie fur-babies.
